Since attending the Foundational Truths course my spiritual life has improved greatly. I have been a Christian for many years and I love God greatly. Throughout my Christian life, I always wanted more depth. Since Kingdom Keys team came to my church, I have learned the basics of the Christian life, although I had some of this knowledge already. The team added such understanding and gave practical ways to use what I learnt in my everyday life. I would like to thank everyone for the sacrifice they have made in supporting me through this course. Someone spoke a word to me that changed my life forever. Part of what she said was that God loves me. This broke years of sadness and pain that I had carried with me. That night I felt like God had come down to me and spoke directly to my heart. What can I say about the Foundational Truths course? It has made a difference in my life in so may ways. I have learned that to receive God's blessings, I must forgive those who have hurt me. The Holy Spirit has moved in my life in such a powerful way. I now love to read the Word and I find my prayer life is so much easier. There have been many practical benefits to attending the Foundational Truths course. It has been important to me to try and maintain some consistency and routine when it comes to studying the word. The course provides this structure. It has also been important as a way of discovering, repairing any cracks in my understanding.
The course has provided me also with references to common Christian beliefs. This has been important to me as sometimes opinion/culture/tradition parade themselves as biblical truths. I have recapped on things I already knew, thought there are things that were relatively new to me that have caused me to study the word further (eg. Evangelism and deliverance). The evangelism session in particular was an example of an issue becoming close to me personally – suddenly ‘evangelism’ did not seem as if it should only be practised by ‘evangelists’.
The course has helped me to know how to study the Bible. It has also caused me to assess my own life especially when it come to things such as curses and soul ties. It was important to learn about inner healing.
When it comes to the difference the course has made to my life, it has given me greater understanding, yes – but importantly I am presented with decisions about what I then do with this knowledge. I feel I have already made some positive decisions and it is my prayer this year that I will be obedient to His leading and His calling. Throughout the course though, I have always been reminded that there is no need for me to go all of this alone. God said he will never leave me nor forsake me. Ama Amponsah
The benefit of attending the Foundational Truths course is that it has "unlocked God's Truths" in so many ways. I have learned how important the Bible (our handbook) is, how to let go of the past and how to be led by the Spirit. I am now more confident and bold because I know who I am in Christ. Tony Thelwell
